Composition

adhatoda vascular leaf dry extract (Adhatoda vasica Ness. ) 600 mg,

licorice root dry extract (Glycyrrhiza glabra L. ) 75 mg,

long pepper fruits and roots dry extract (Piper longum L. ) 100 mg,

violet fragrant flowers dry extract (Viola odorata L. ) 25 mg,

hyssop officinalis leaf extract dry (Hyssopus officinalis L. ) 50 mg,

Alpine galang roots and rhizomes extract (Alpinia galanga L. ) 50 mg,

Cordie deciduous fruit extract dry (Cordia latifolia) 100 mg,

marshmallow flowers dry extract (Althaea officinalis L. ) 100 mg,

zizifus this fruit dry extract (in the Process jujuba Mill. ) 100 mg,

onosma prirodopol flower and leaf dry extract (Onosma bracteatum Wall. ) 100 mg;

Pharmacological action

Combined herbal preparation. Reduces the intensity and increases the productivity of coughing, has an expectorant, mucolytic and anti-inflammatory effect.

Vascular adhatode has antitussive, bronchodilatory, expectorant and antispasmodic effects.

Smooth licorice root contains glycyrrhizin and foaming substances-saponins, which help to increase the secretory function of the respiratory tract epithelium, change the surface-active properties of the pulmonary surfactant, stimulate the movement of the cilia of the epithelium, dilute sputum and facilitate its discharge. It has a depressing effect on the exudative and proliferative phase of inflammation. It has anti-allergic properties.

Long pepper has antibacterial, anti-allergic properties. It has an antitussive and general tonic effect.

Sweet violet has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, soothing, antimicrobial and antispasmodic effects.

Hyssop vulgaris contains diosmin, which has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antitussive effects.

Kalgan bolshoy has a bactericidal effect, has anti-inflammatory and expectorant properties.

Marshmallow has an expectorant and anti-inflammatory effect.

Ziziphus vulgaris has an expectorant effect, reduces sore throat, has sedative and antibacterial properties.

Indications

Symptomatic treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract, accompanied by a cough with difficult-to-separate sputum (against the background of acute respiratory diseases, influenza, tracheitis, bronchitis, tracheobronchitis, pneumonia, bronchitis of “smokers” and other inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract).

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Due to the lack of sufficient research to date, Linkus is not recommended for use during pregnancy. Breast-feeding should be discontinued for the duration of treatment.

Contraindications

Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug. Severe liver and kidney function disorders. Pregnancy. Breast-feeding period. Under 18 years of age.

Side effects

Rarely:  allergic reactions.

Interaction

Simultaneous use with antitussive drugs, as well as with drugs that reduce the formation of sputum, is not recommended.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Inside. Children from 6 months to 3 years — 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) 3 times a day; 3-8 years-1 teaspoon (5 ml) 3 times a day; 8-18 years-1 teaspoon 4 times a day; adults-2 teaspoons 3-4 times a day.

The duration of use of the drug is 5-7 days. An increase in the duration and repeated courses of treatment is possible on the recommendation of a doctor.

Special instructions

The syrup contains sucrose, which should be taken into account by patients suffering from diabetes, as well as people who are on a low-calorie diet. A single dose (10 ml) contains about 7 g of sucrose, which corresponds to 0.58 XE.
