Treatment of nail lesions caused by various types of fungi (in the form of monotherapy if no more than 2/3 of the nail plate is affected); prevention of fungal nail lesions.
It is not recommended to use Loceril during pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding).
With onychomycosis, the solution is applied to the affected fingernails or toes 1-2 times a week.
Therapy should be continued until the nail regenerates and the affected area is completely cured. The course of treatment is on average 6 months for the nails on the hands and 9-12 months for the nails on the feet.
Method of applying the solution: before applying the drug, if possible, remove the affected areas of the nail (especially on its surface)using the supplied nail file.
Then the nail surface is cleaned and degreased with the attached swab moistened with alcohol. Treatment of nails with a nail file and a swab with alcohol should be carried out before each use of the drug.
The solution is applied to the entire surface of the affected nail with a spatula, let it dry. The above procedure is repeated for each affected nail. The spatula should be dipped in the solution, then remove the spatula from the bottle, without touching its neck.
The neck of the bottle is wiped with the same swab that was used to treat the nail, and the bottle is tightly closed immediately after use.
Allow the solution to dry for about 3 minutes. After processing all the nails, the spatula is wiped with a used swab. Avoid contact between the treated nails and the tampon; discard the used tampon.
Hypersensitivity to the drug.
Files used to treat affected nails should not be used to treat healthy nails.
People working with organic solvents should wear impermeable gloves to protect their nails coated with Loceryl solution.
During treatment with Loceril, the use of false artificial nails should be avoided.
There are no clinical data on the efficacy and safety of Loceril in children, so you should not prescribe Loceril to children.
