Composition

In 1 tablet weighing 570 mg mg contains:

• Vitamin C.
• Taurine.
• Lutein.
• Dry blueberry extract.
• Vitamin E.
• Vitasil-Se (yeast autolysate, water-soluble, selenium-containing).
• Zinc sulfate.
• Beta-carotene.
• Vitamin A.
• Copper sulfate.

Pharmacological action

Biologically active food additive. It is not a medicine.

• Lutein.

  It accumulates in the lens and the central (macular) area of the retina, where it is partially transformed into zeaxanthin. Lutein and zeaxanthin act as a light filter and protect important structures of the eye from the action of the most aggressive, blue part of the daylight spectrum. Lutein and zeaxanthin, being powerful antioxidants, are able to neutralize the action of free radicals and prevent the destruction of the retina and clouding of the lens.

• Blueberry extract (anthocyanins).

  Contains anthocyanins, which are involved in restoring the light-sensitive pigment rhodopsin and, thus, improve adaptation to different light levels, increasing visual acuity at dusk.

• Taurine.

  An amino acid involved in the transmission of photosignals. It stimulates regeneration and metabolism of eye tissues. Promotes normalization of cell membrane functions and activation of energy exchange processes in light-sensing cells.

• Beta-carotene.

  A precursor to vitamin A. One molecule of beta-carotene forms two molecules of vitamin A.

• Vitamin A.

  Improves color perception. It plays an important role in redox processes, the synthesis of vital substances for the eye.

• Vitamin E.

  Accelerates the regeneration of damaged cells, participates in tissue respiration and other important metabolic processes. Prevents increased fragility and permeability of capillaries.

• Vitamin C.

  Increases the effectiveness of antioxidants (lutein, zeaxanthin, anthocyanins), which accelerates the restoration of visual pigments in the retina.

• Zinc.

  It is found in the retina, vascular and iris of the eye. It helps to maintain the level of vitamin A, participates in the synthesis of protein molecules.

• Copper.

  An important element of various enzymes. Copper deficiency leads to fragility of blood vessels and hemorrhages.

• Selenium.

  Microelement-antioxidant. It is a part of the enzyme glutathione peroxidase and determines its activity-it protects the intracellular structures of eye tissues from the damaging effects of harmful oxygen radicals.

Indications

It is recommended as a dietary supplement – an additional source of vitamins A, C, E, zinc, selenium, copper, beta-carotene, lutein, taurine, anthocyanins, improving the functional state of the visual organ.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance to the components, pregnancy, breast-feeding.
