Pharmacological action

Flora Glo®Lutein:

• It is a proprietary trademark of Lutein substance, a company of Kemin Industries, Inc, U. S. A.
• It is Flora GLO lutein that has been used in most international clinical trials in ophthalmology (more than 70, including the LUNA; CARMA; AREDS2 studies) worldwide.

Zeaone®Zeaxanthin:

• It is a proprietary substance from Kemin Industries, Inc, U. S. A. This is a ” free “(less commonly called” food”) form of zeaxanthin, similar to that which comes to us from food products.
• Free Zeaxanthin ZeaONE ® in the body undergoes minimal processing by enzymes of the gastrointestinal tract and thus has a high bioavailability.

Vitamin C:

• It is the main antioxidant, prevents damage to the retina by free radicals.
• It is a filter that protects the internal structures of the eye from exposure to the most harmful area of the UV spectrum.
• Normalizes capillary permeability, improves ocular hemodynamics.

Vitamin E:

• It is an antioxidant that slows down the aging process of the body’s cells.
• Normalizes the permeability of capillaries and prevents their fragility.
• Improves peripheral blood circulation.
• Prevents the development of cataracts.

Omega-3 PUFAs:

• They are involved in the growth, development and functioning of photoreceptor cells

Indications

It is recommended as a dietary supplement as a source of polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids (docosahexaenoic acid), lutein and zeaxanthin, Vitamin C, E, zinc and copper. In the complex therapy of myopia, dry forms of AMD (age-related macular degeneration of the retina), diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, with increased visual loads, working with a computer, to improve twilight vision.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance to the components, pregnancy, breast-feeding.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Take 1 capsule daily with a meal. Duration of admission is not less than 1 month.
