Composition

Active ingredients:  

Vitex agnus castus (Agnus castus) Ø-162.0 mg,

Caulophyllum thalictroides D4-81.0 mg,

Cyclamen europaeum (Cyclamen) D4 – 81.0 mg,

Strychnos ignatii (Ignatia) D6 – 81.0 mg,

Iris versicolor (Iris) D2-162.0 mg,

Lilium lancifolium (Lilium tigrinum) D3-81.0 mg.

Auxiliary substances:  

potato starch,

magnesium stearate,

lactose monohydrate.

Pharmacological action

Mastodinone is a combined homeopathic medicine.

It has a dopaminergic effect, which reduces the secretion of prolactin by the adenohypophysis.

At the same time, the production of pituitary gonadotropins is normalized, which leads to the elimination of yellow body insufficiency and related menstrual disorders and infertility.

With a decrease in the prolactin content, prerequisites are created for the reverse development of the pathological process in fibrocystic mastopathy. In this case, the therapeutic effect occurs, as a rule, after 6 weeks.

Indications

As a symptomatic remedy on the doctor’s recommendation during treatment:

– premenstrual syndrome (breast strain, mental lability, constipation, edema, headache / migraine);- fibrocystic mastopathy;- menstrual disorders and / or infertility caused by yellow body insufficiency.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

The drug should not be used during pregnancy and lactation.

Contraindications

-Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;- pregnancy and lactation period;- Mastodinone tablets are not used for the treatment of breast cancer; – due to the lactose content, this drug is not suitable for patients suffering from rare inherited galactose intolerance, genetic lactase deficiency or glucose and galactose malabsorption;- the drug should not be used in children under 12 years of age.

Side effects

Possible: allergic reactions.

In very rare cases, stomach pain, nausea, slight weight gain, itchy exanthemas, acne and headaches are possible, as well as temporary psychomotor agitation, confusion and hallucinations may occur due to the content of Agnus castus.

In these cases, it is necessary to cancel the drug and consult a doctor.

Interaction

Treatment with homeopathic medicines does not exclude the use of other medicines.

It is possible to weaken the effect of the drug with simultaneous use of dopamine antagonists.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Take orally 1 tablet 2 times a day, with a small amount of liquid.

Mastodinone should be taken for at least 3 months, including during menstruation.

Improvement usually occurs after 6 weeks.
