Pharmacological action

Mastodinone is a combined homeopathic medicine.

It has a dopaminergic effect, which reduces the secretion of prolactin by the adenohypophysis.

At the same time, the production of pituitary gonadotropins is normalized, which leads to the elimination of yellow body insufficiency and related menstrual disorders and infertility.

With a decrease in the prolactin content, prerequisites are created for the reverse development of the pathological process in fibrocystic mastopathy. In this case, the therapeutic effect occurs, as a rule, after 6 weeks.

Indications

As a symptomatic remedy on the doctor’s recommendation during treatment:

• premenstrual syndrome (breast strain, mental lability, constipation, edema, headache / migraine);
• fibrocystic mastopathy;
• menstrual disorders and / or infertility caused by yellow body insufficiency.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

In very rare cases, stomach pain, nausea, slight weight gain, itchy exanthemas, acne and headaches are possible, as well as temporary psychomotor agitation, confusion and hallucinations may occur due to the content of Agnus castus.

Interaction

When storing Mastodinone, the solution may become cloudy or flakes may fall out, but this does not affect the activity of the drug.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Apply 30 drops 2 times a day (morning and evening), slightly diluting them with water or other liquid. Shake thoroughly before use.

Mastodinone should be taken for at least 3 months, including during menstruation. Improvement usually occurs after 6 weeks.

If complaints resume after discontinuation, therapy should be continued after consultation with the attending physician.

Special instructions

If pregnancy occurs while taking the drug, then the drug should be discontinued.

Due to the ethanol content (47-53% by volume), this remedy should not be used after successful anti-alcohol treatment, and in the case of liver diseases, it should be used only after consulting a doctor.

Treatment with homeopathic medicines does not exclude the use of other medicines.

Slight turbidity or slight precipitation may occur during storage. This does not affect the effectiveness of the drug.
