Composition

The composition of the drug “Mezi-Vit plus” (205 mg):

• rhizomes with roots of high elecampane (cryopowder) (80 mg);
• vitamin C (6 mg);
• vitamin B6 (70 mcg).

Pharmacological action

Active ingredients

The roots and rhizomes of elecampane contain a significant amount (up to 44%) of inulin and inulenin, which improve the metabolism of carbohydrates and fats, reduce blood sugar levels. Inulin belongs to the group of dietary fiber, is a prebiotic. A special essential oil, which is contained exclusively in this plant (up to 4%), has a bactericidal effect, suppresses inflammation in the intestines.

Vitamin C is added to the preparation to improve the production of digestive enzymes, as well as as an antioxidant and capillaroprotector.

Vitamin B6 stimulates the formation and elimination of bile, improves the detoxification function of the liver.
