Motherwort Grass

Description

Motherwort grass contains essential oil, tannins, flavonoids, iridoids and other biologically active substances.

Pharmacological action

Infusion of motherwort herb has a pronounced sedative effect, has antihypertensive properties, slows down the rhythm and increases the strength of heart contractions.

Indications

Increased nervous excitability, sleep disorders, neurasthenia gravis, neuro-circulatory dystonia.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

During pregnancy, the use of the drug is contraindicated due to the uterotonic effect of motherwort grass. The use of the drug during breastfeeding is possible if the expected benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the child. You should consult your doctor.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug, pregnancy, children under 12 years of age.

Interaction

How to take, course of use and dosage

About 9 g (2 tablespoons) of herbs are placed in an enamel bowl,200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water is poured, covered with a lid and insisted on a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered, the remaining raw materials are squeezed out.

The volume of the resulting infusion is brought with boiled water to 200 ml.

Take inside 1/2 cup of warm infusion 3 times a day for 1 hour before meals.

It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.

Overdose

Cases of overdose have so far been unregistered.
