Composition

Active ingredient:

tincture of five-lobed motherwort and common motherwort herb in 70% ethyl alcohol (1: 5).

Pharmacological action

The drug is of plant origin; it has a pronounced sedative, moderate cardiotonic (slows down the rhythm and increases the strength of heart contractions) effect, has moderate hypotensive properties.

Indications

Cardiovascular neuroses, vegetative-vascular dystonia, increased nervous excitability, arterial hypertension (labile).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, pregnancy, children under 12 years of age. With caution. Lactation period.

Side effects

Allergic reactions, dyspepsia.

Interaction

Compatible with other sedatives and heart medications; enhances the effect of sleeping pills and analgesics.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Motherwort tincture is taken orally-30-50 drops 3-4 times a day.
