Recommendations for use

The mixes are ready to use. Make sure that the packaging is intact. Shake well before use. Unscrew the cover and connect it to the adapter. It is recommended to preheat to room temperature before use. Use before the date indicated on the package or bottle.

Contraindications

• the mixture is unsuitable for children of the first year of life, as well as as the only source of nutrition for children from 1 to 3 years of age;
• intolerance to any component that makes up the mixture;
• complete obstruction of the gastrointestinal tract.

Description

Nutrizon Standard is a liquid, balanced, sterile, isoosmolar, ready-to-use enteral nutrition that meets the nutritional needs of patients whose natural nutrition is impossible or insufficient.

The main advantage of Nutrizon Standard is its isoosmolarity, which provides better tolerance and facilitates the absorption of nutrients, which is especially important for patients with affected intestinal mucosa, functional disorders and gastrointestinal motility disorders.

The clinical efficacy of Nutrizon Standard is determined by its protein, fat, carbohydrate, vitamin and trace element composition, low osmolarity and emulsion form.

Energy content – 1 kcal/1 ml-isocaloric nutrition makes it easy to calculate the required amount of the drug.

Protein-milk protein (100% casein) – contains essential amino acids.

Fats are represented only by vegetable fats, which are easily absorbed and digested. The ratio of LC n6/n3 = 5/1. Contains essential fatty acids.

Carbohydrates are represented by maltodextrins, which are easily digested and absorbed even with villi atrophy. Nutrizon Standard does not contain lactose, so it can be used in patients with lactase deficiency.

Nutrizon Standard can be used as a single power source for an unlimited time or as an additional power source.

Nutri-zon Standard can be used for enteral nutrition by injection into a nasogastric or nasojejunal tube, gastro – or ejunostomy, as well as for oral use.

An important advantage of Nutrizon Standard is the sterility of the finished mixture, which significantly reduces the risk of exogenous microbial contamination.

The balanced composition of Nutrizon Standard avoids the risk of developing vitamin and trace element deficiencies during prolonged use of probe nutrition.

Storage conditions

Store in a dry place at a temperature of 5-25° C. Do not freeze! Keep an open bag in the refrigerator for no more than 24 hours.
