Composition

Active ingredient:

sodium chloride -7 mg;

Pharmacological action

OCUflash is a special isotonic buffer solution, which includes medicinal ochanka extract as an additional component.

When instilled in the eyes, ochanka extract has an anti-inflammatory, disinfecting, and adstringent effect.

It can be used for the maintenance treatment and prevention of non-infectious inflammation of the eyelids, connective membranes and for soothing the eyes.

Indications

• removal from the eye of any foreign bodies, dust, chlorinated water;
• rinsing after gonioscopy and tonometry;
• leaching purulent and mucous secretions;
• relaxation of the eye after using hard contact lenses;
• first aid in case of eye contact: small amounts of acids or alkalies;
• as a supporting tool in some non-infectious inflammation in the connective membranes, chronic conjunctivitis;
• as a suitable agent for removing makeup.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

This product is recommended for use by adults and children.

It is absolutely safe and can be prescribed to newborns, children at the breast, pregnant women and nursing mothers.

Contraindications

Individual hypersensitivity.

Side effects

Sometimes after applying it, there is a passing sensation of a slight burning sensation.

Possible allergic reactions.

How to take, course of use and dosage

In the maintenance treatment of non-infectious conjunctival or eyelid inflammations, it is recommended to instill 2 drops of the drug into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye (s) up to 4 times a day. In case of inflammation, the solution can be used to prepare compresses.

In order to get rid of a foreign body in the eye, the solution is not used until the foreign body is removed and the problem is fixed.

Method of application:

OCUflash is ready for use immediately after opening. You just need to unscrew the protective cap, slightly tilt your head back, turn the bottle upside down and instill the required number of drops by pressing on the plastic bottle. The amount of solution required will depend on the method of use.

Washing the affected eye in solution is carried out using the drug by the reset method, which is carried out by long pressing on the bottle and holding it.

Overdose

Possible increased side effects.

Special instructions

It is not recommended to wear soft lenses (especially hydrophilic ones) when using the drug. Hard contact lenses are also not recommended for use during treatment with the drug. If this is not possible, the lenses should be removed before each instillation, and they can be put back on only after 20 minutes after instillation.

If OCUflash is prescribed in complex therapy with other ophthalmic agents, an interval of 5 minutes should be made between their alternate use.

When using the product, care must be taken to ensure that the dropper spout does not come into contact with any surfaces.

Influence on the management of transport and other mechanisms.

The drug can not affect the concentration of attention when driving a car or operating equipment. But, after its application, there is a temporary deterioration of vision, so any activities that require increased attention should be performed only after the complete cessation of this effect.
