Composition

Microcrystalline cellulose (E 460(i)), ascorbic acid (ethylcellulose (E 462)), encapsulated lutein and zeaxanthin esters from marigold flowers (lutein, zeaxanthin, gelatin, sucrose, palm oil, silicon dioxide (E 551), ascorbyl palmitate (E 304), tocopherols, mixed concentrate (E 306)), tocopherol acetate (maltodextin (E 1400), food starch, silicon dioxide (E 551)), hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (E 464), selenium (selenium-enriched inactivated yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae), zinc oxide, stearic acid (E 570), titanium dioxide (E 171), magnesium stearate (E 470b), riboflavin (E 101), iron oxides (E 172).

Pharmacological action

Dietary supplement containing essential carotenoids (lutein and zeaxanthin), antioxidant vitamins C and E, trace elements zinc and selenium.

Scientific studies have shown that antioxidant minerals and vitamins can help protect eye structures from free radicals and prevent related diseases. Free radicals are unstable molecules that can damage the cells of the eye, which can lead to serious vision problems such as cataracts and age-related macular degeneration.

The components of OKUVITE ® Forte are not produced by the body and should be included in the daily diet. The carotenoids contained in the product protect the retina from the damaging effects of bright light, reduce the risk of age-related degenerative changes in the retina and have anti-inflammatory properties.

Lutein is a carotenoid that naturally protects the retina from too much light.

Zeaxanthin is a yellow pigment from the xanthophyll group that accumulates in the retinal pigment of the human eye, plays the role of a protective mechanism against light-induced cell damage, and promotes the destruction of lipofuscin.

Vitamins C and E, minerals zinc and selenium, which are part of the vitamin and mineral complex “OKUVAYT ® forte”, being natural antioxidants, help to reduce the impact of harmful factors and preserve vision, help strengthen blood vessels, including the vessels of the fundus.

Vitamin C is one of the most important antioxidants that a person needs. Participates in the regulation of redox processes, carbohydrate metabolism, blood clotting, regulates the restoration of visual pigments, reduces increased intraocular pressure, reduces the risk of glaucoma.

Vitamin E-acts as a biological antioxidant that inactivates free radicals and thereby prevents their formation. Prevents increased fragility and permeability of capillaries. It is used to prevent the appearance and development of cataracts.

Zinc-participates in the processes of antioxidant protection of cell membranes. Protects the eyes from damage caused by UV light and bright light. Zinc intake helps to slow down age-related changes in the retina. Zinc deficiency can lead to a decrease in color perception, the formation of cataracts.

Indications

Adults are prescribed 1 tab. 1 time/day during meals.

Form of production
