Olyfrin nasal moisturizer spray, 15ml

Composition

Olyfrin nasal mucosa remedy is an opaque liquid of white-yellow color, slightly oily with a citrus aroma. Composition 1 ml of anhydrous glycerol – 62,5 mg sodium benzoate – 5.0 mg, sodium hyaluronate – 1.9 mg, Polysorbate 80 (tween 80) – 1,9 mg, macrogol glycerylmonostearate 40 – 0.6 mg, lemon essential oil – 0.6 mg, racemic alpha-tocopherol acetate 0.1 mg, water for injection up to 1 ml.

Pharmacological action

The product moisturizes, eliminates symptomatic manifestations of dryness (irritation, itching, burning), promotes healing and creates a protective barrier of the nasal mucosa of children from 3 years of age and adults due to the sodium hyaluronate included in the composition. Hyaluronic acid is a natural polymer, present everywhere in the human body, has a lubricating, moisturizing property and the necessary viscosity, which contributes to the creation of a protective film in the nasal cavity due to its high ability to retain moisture, thus ensuring uniform long-term hydration of the nasal mucosa and protects the mucous membrane from the effects of adverse environmental factors. The product also contains racemic alpha-tocopherol acetate (Vitamin E), which has an anti-inflammatory effect due to its antioxidant properties.

Indications

The product can be used in children from 3 years of age and adults:

• to create a protective barrier and moisten the nasal mucosa;
• to remove excess secretions and crusts formed in the nasal cavity;
• to eliminate symptomatic manifestations of dryness (irritation, itching, burning)
• nasal mucosa associated with environmental exposure, dry air
• (air conditioning, heating) or postoperative healing; with increased bleeding due to thinning and dryness of the nasal mucosa;
• to accelerate regeneration after surgical interventions;
• when the mucosa changes with prolonged use of local vasoconstrictor drugs.

Side effects when using the product in accordance with the instructions for use were not detected.

Interaction

It is combined with all means for intranasal use and physiotherapy procedures.

How to take, course of use and dosage

1-2 injections in each nostril 1-3 times a day as needed. The duration and frequency of use of the drug are not limited.

Storage conditions
