Locally. Apply to affected fingernails or toenails 1-2 times a week.
1. Before applying Onihelp® nail polish, remove as much of the affected nail as possible with scissors and carefully treat the affected areas of the nail on its surface with the supplied nail file.
2. Then clean and degrease the nail surface with the included alcohol cloth.
3. Dip the applicator in the varnish. The applicator should be removed from the bottle without touching its neck, and do not rub excess varnish on the neck of the bottle.
4. Apply the varnish to the surface of the affected nail using an applicator.
5. Close the nail polish bottle tightly immediately after use to prevent it from drying out.
6. After use, wipe the applicator with an alcohol cloth. Discard the used napkin.
7. Allow the varnish to dry for about 3-5 minutes.
The above procedure should be performed for each affected nail. Before each subsequent application of Onychelp®, it is necessary to remove the previous layer of varnish with an alcohol cloth, treat the nails with a nail file, and then clean and degrease the surface using an alcohol cloth.
Treatment should be carried out continuously until the affected area is completely cured and the nail plate regenerates.
If the patient forgot to apply the varnish on the scheduled day, it should be applied as soon as possible.
The duration of treatment is usually 6 months for the fingernails and 9 to 12 months for the toenails.
If no improvement occurs within 3 months, it is recommended to consult a doctor.

Antifungal drug for external use. It has a fungistatic and fungicidal effect due to damage to the cytoplasmic membrane of the fungus by disrupting the biosynthesis of sterols. The content of ergosterol decreases, and the content of atypical steric non-planar sterols accumulates. It has a wide spectrum of action. Highly active against both the most common and rare pathogens of fungal nail lesions: dermatophytes Trichophyton spp., Microsporum spp., Epidermophyton floccosum; yeast fungi Candida spp. ; mold fungi Alternaria spp., Scopulariopsis spp., Hendersonula spp. ; fungi from the family Dematiaceae Cladosporium spp. ; insensitive species of Aspergillus, Fusarium, Micorales. Pharmacokinetics When applied to the nails, it penetrates into the nail plate and then into the nail bed, almost completely within the first 24 hours. The effective concentration remains in the affected nail plate for 7-10 days after the first application. Systemic absorption is insignificant: the plasma concentration is below the sensitivity limit of the determination methods (less than 0.5 ng / ml).
When using the drug Onihelp®, adverse reactions are rare. Nail damage such as discoloration, destruction of nail plates, and brittle nails can be caused by fungal nail damage. All adverse reactions reported with Onihelp® are listed below, according to the accepted classification by organ system and frequency of occurrence: very common (≥10%); common (≥1% and <10%); uncommon (≥0.1% and <1%); rare (≥0.01% and <0.1%); very rare (From the skin and subcutaneous tissues: rarely-possible nail damage, discoloration, onychoclasia (fragility of the nail plate), onychorexis (fragility of the nail plate); very rarely — burning sensation of the skin; frequency unknown — erythema, pruritus, contact dermatitis, urticaria, blistering. The drug is intended for external use, so in case of accidental ingestion of the drug, the stomach should be washed and symptomatic treatment should be carried out.
A nail file used to treat affected nails should not be used to treat healthy nails. During treatment, the use of decorative nail polish and false artificial nails should be avoided. Do not allow nail polish to get into the eyes, ears and mucous membranes. The product contains ethanol, so too frequent and incorrect application can lead to irritation or dryness of the skin around the nail. The napkin contains a highly flammable substance. People who work with organic solvents (including paint solvents, gasoline, kerosene) should wear airtight gloves to protect their varnished nails. To prevent the varnish from drying out, close the lid tightly after use. To prevent the lid from sticking, avoid getting varnish on the threads. If the application of varnish is missed, do not apply an excessive amount of it in several layers, it is enough to continue the treatment according to the instructions for use. Do not pour the remaining product in the place where water or household waste is drained. Patients with conditions predisposing to the development of fungal nail lesions (peripheral blood circulation disorders, diabetes mellitus, immunodeficiency), as well as patients with nail dystrophy, should consult a doctor before using the drug. If more than 2/3 of the nail plate is affected by destruction or fungal damage, it is also necessary to consult a doctor for the appointment of concomitant oral therapy. Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms. Not studied.
