Pharmacological action
The exact mechanism of action of the allergen during allergen-specific immunotherapy (ASIT) is not fully clear.
The following are proven biological changes: the appearance of specific antibodies (IgG4), playing the role of “blocking antibodies”; a decrease in the level of specific IgE in the plasma for a long period; the decrease in the reactivity of the cells involved in allergic reactions; increased activity of the interaction between T-lymphocytes and Th2 Th1 Th0 and even leading to a positive change in cytokine production (reduction of IL-4 and increased interferon-gamma), which regulates IgE production.
In addition, ASIT causes an immune response, which allows you to maintain immunobiological memory for a long period of time. The effectiveness of ASIT is higher in cases where treatment is initiated in the early stages of the disease.
Indications
Allergen-specific immunotherapy (ASIT) of patients with an allergic reaction of type 1 (IdE-mediated), manifested in the form of rhinitis or rhinoconjunctivitis, who have an increased sensitivity to pollen of meadow traps (combined hedgehog, sweetspike, perennial chaff, meadow bluegrass, meadow timothy), confirmed by positive results in skin testing and/or an increased content of specific lgE. Immunotherapy can be performed for adults and children from the age of 5 years.

How to take, course of use and dosage
Treatment with the drug should be carried out by an allergist.
If the drug is used in pediatric practice, the doctor should have appropriate experience in treating children. It is recommended to take the first tablet under the supervision of a doctor to monitor the patient’s condition for 30 minutes.
Treatment should begin 4 months before the expected flowering season, continue throughout the entire dusting season and stop at the end of it.
The drug is recommended to be taken in the morning on an empty stomach. The tablet should be placed under the tongue and held until completely dissolved (for at least 1 minute), then swallowed.
Interruptions in taking the drug should be avoided. Do not increase the dose after skipping the drug. If the drug is missed for less than 7 days, it is recommended to resume taking the drug at the same dose at which treatment was interrupted, and then follow the recommended scheme.
If you miss a long time (more than 7 days), you should consult your doctor.
Special instructions
For surgical operations in the CA cavity (including removal of tubules), therapy should be interrupted until complete recovery (at least within 7 days).
In case of severe allergic reactions, the doctor may recommend taking epinephrine. At the same time, it should be noted that patients taking tricyclic antidepressants, monoamine oxidase inhibitors, increase the risk of side effects on its use up to a fatal outcome.
There is no clinical experience of simultaneous vaccination and drug treatment. Vaccination can only be carried out after consulting a doctor.
The drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms.
