Composition

Active ingredients:

sodium hyaluronate 20 mg,

sodium chloride,

sodium phosphate di-substituted,

sodium dihydrogen phosphate,

mannitol,

water for injection.

The pharmacological action

of OST TENDON helps to improve joint mobility and the process of physiological tissue repair. In addition, the macromolecular mesh structure of the OST TENDON medical device allows you to block the inflammatory process at the molecular and cellular level. OST TENDON is a clear, highly purified solution of sodium hyaluronate of natural origin obtained during fermentation, which does not contain animal protein.

TENDON OST also contains mannitol, a free radical scavenger that helps normalize the chemical bond of the sodium hyaluronate chain. Testing of the OST TENDON medical device for biocompatibility proved a high degree of its safety.

Indications

Pain and limited mobility in various joint diseases.

Contraindications

Do not use in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the medical device.

Side effects

Local secondary symptoms such as pain, heat, bruising, redness and swelling may occur during treatment with the OST® TENDON medical device.

Interaction

Information about the incompatibility of OST ® TENDON with medications used in the treatment of joint diseases has not yet been identified.

How to take, course of use and dosage

OST ® TENDON should be injected into the affected area of the tendon or joint cavity once a week for up to 2 injections. Simultaneous insertion of the OST® TENDON medical device into several joints is possible. If necessary, treatment can be canceled.

The contents and outer surface of the syringe containing the OST® TENDON medical product solution are sterile until the package is opened. Open the sterile packaging by rotating the cap with the Lauer-Lok™ logo [JIyep-Lok] open it, install a suitable needle (from 25 to 27 grams), secure the needle by turning it slightly. Remove any air bubbles before use.

Special instructions

OST ® TENDON should be used with caution in patients with established hypersensitivity to medications.

General precautions should be taken during injection into the joint cavity and peritoneal injection. OST ® TENDON should be inserted precisely into the area of the affected joint; if necessary, tomographic images should be used to determine the area of the lesion.

It is necessary to avoid damaging the nerve areas and getting medical products into the blood vessels!

It is not recommended to use OST® TENDON in children, pregnant and lactating women, as clinical trials of the effect of sodium hyaluronate on these categories of people have not been conducted.

Do not use the syringe if it is damaged or if the packaging is broken.

The solution that is not used immediately after opening the package must be disposed of, since the sterility of the solution in this case is not guaranteed.

Form of production

The solution is viscoelastic for near-tendon use and insertion into the joint cavity.

Storage conditions
