Hypersensitivity, renal and/or hepatic insufficiency, blood diseases with a tendency to hemorrhage, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, pregnancy, lactation, children (up to 16 years).

Pentaflucin is a combined drug that has antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects. Its action is due to the active substances included in the composition:

Contraindicated: pregnancy and lactation.
Use in children.
Contraindicated: children under 16 years of age.
Hypersensitivity, renal and/or hepatic insufficiency, blood diseases with a tendency to hemorrhage, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, pregnancy, lactation, children (up to 16 years).
Possible drowsiness and allergic skin reactions (rash, itching, urticaria), nausea, vomiting, headache, general weakness, dizziness.
Rarely-thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, agranulocytosis.
With prolonged use in high doses, hepatotoxic and nephrotoxic effects are possible.
The combination of the drug with barbiturates, anticonvulsants, diphenine, carbamazepine, rifampicin, zidovudine and other inducers of microsomal liver enzymes should be avoided.
Pentaflucin is taken orally after meals,1 packet 3-4 times a day for 3-5 days. 1 package of Pentaflucine is dissolved in 1/2 cup of hot water (a slight sediment in a glass is allowed).
Apply a freshly prepared solution.
Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, after 1-2 days – liver failure, encephalopathy, coma.
Treatment: induce vomiting, gastric lavage, use of adsorbents (activated charcoal), symptomatic therapy (use of methionine, acetylcysteine).
Do not combine the drug with the use of ethanol in order to avoid toxic liver damage.
Influence on the ability to drive motor vehicles and manage mechanisms
During the treatment period, it is necessary to refrain from driving vehicles and engaging in potentially dangerous activities that require increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.
