Composition

Active ingredient:

dry peony extract containing the sum of phenolic glycosides

in terms of salicin and dry matter 16.0% – 0.150 g

Core Excipients:

milk sugar (lactose),

potato starch,

calcium stearate,

basic magnesium carbonate (magnesium hydroxycarbonate);

Pharmacological action

Peony extract has a pronounced sedative effect.

Preclinical experimental studies revealed anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, membrane-stabilizing, antioxidant, stress-protective, and antihypoxic properties.

Indications

Sleep disorders, increased nervous excitability, neurocirculatory dystonia.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, pregnancy, lactation, childhood (up to 12 years), gaalactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption.

Side effects

Possible allergic reactions.

Interaction

Evading peony preparations help to weaken the effect of central nervous system tonics; they enhance the effect of sleeping pills, sedatives, and antispasmodics.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Inside,1 tablet 2 times a day 30 minutes before meals.

The course of treatment is 21-30 days.

If necessary, the course of treatment is repeated after a 10-day break, after consulting a doctor.

Overdose

Overdose may cause central nervous system depression and drowsiness.

Treatment:  symptomatic.

Special instructions

With prolonged use in large doses, it is possible to reduce psychomotor reactions, which should be taken into account when driving vehicles, working with mechanisms, etc.

Patients with diabetes should take into account that 1 tablet of the drug contains about 0.275 g of carbohydrates (0.023 XE).
