Phyto Novo-Sed oral liquid extract, 100ml

Composition

1000 ml of liquid extract for oral use contains:

active ingredients:

Echinacea purpurea herb 62.5 g,

melissa officinalis herb 125 g,

rosehip fruit 125 g,

hawthorn fruit 62.5 g,

motherwort grass 125 g,

excipients:

ethyl alcohol 40% – sufficient amount to produce 1000 ml of the drug

Pharmacological action

Phyto Novo-Sed-sedative phytopreparation.

It also has anxiolytic properties, improves cerebral circulation; has an activating effect on the detoxifying system of the liver (on cytochrome_P450 and glutathione transferase), increases the body’s resistance to physical exertion.

Pharmacokinetics

The effect of Phyto Novo-Seda is the combined effect of its components, so it is not possible to conduct kinetic observations.

Indications

Neurotic reactions accompanied by irritability, insomnia, anxiety, fear, headache.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to Phyto Novo-Sed components and plants of the Asteraceae family;
• pregnancy;
• breast-feeding period;
• age up to 18 years;
• progressive systemic diseases (tuberculosis, leukemia, leukemia, multiple sclerosis, autoimmune diseases);
• diffuse connective tissue diseases (collagenoses);
• AIDS and HIV infection.

With caution (due to the presence of ethanol in the preparation):

• severe forms of liver dysfunction;
• epilepsy;
• brain diseases and injuries;
• severe forms of alcoholism.

Side effects

Allergic reactions.

Interaction

There is no clinically significant interaction of Phyto Novo-Seda with other drugs (the drug can be used in combination with NSAIDs, analgesics, antibiotics).

How to take, course of use and dosage

of Phyto Novo-Sed are taken orally.

Adults: 0.5 teaspoons (2.5 ml), diluted in 1/4 cup (50 ml) of water,3 times a day for 30 minutes before or 40 minutes after meals.

The duration of treatment is up to 2 weeks.

An increase in the duration and repeated courses of treatment is possible on the recommendation of a doctor.

Overdose

Data on overdose of the drug are not provided.

Special instructions

In recommended doses, Phyto Novo-Sed does not cause drowsiness and attention disorders, which allows it to be taken during the day.

The ethanol content in the preparation is not less than 33%. A single dose of the drug contains 0.83 ml of ethanol (in terms of absolute alcohol).
