Composition

To prepare 100 ml of the drug, you must:

• Plantain large leaves fresh-enough to get 77 ml of juice is not canned.
• Ethyl alcohol 95% (ethanol) – 23 ml

Pharmacological action

Psyllium juice is obtained from fresh Greater plantain leaves.

The pharmacological activity of the drug is primarily due to the presence of iridoids, polysaccharides and flavonoids.

Psyllium juice stimulates the secretion of gastric juice, increases its acidity, has a wound-healing, anti-inflammatory, hemostatic effect, and has antispasmodic properties.

Indications

• Chronic hypoacid gastritis.
• Peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum with normal or low acidity.
• Chronic colitis (in complex treatment).
• As a means of increasing appetite.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
• Hyperacid gastritis.
• Peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum with high acidity.
• Children’s age (up to 12 years).

Side effects

Heartburn, allergic reactions.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Inside,1 tablespoon, diluted in 1/4 cup of water,3 times a day for 15-30 minutes before meals.

The course of treatment is 30 days.

Form of production

Brown to dark brown liquid with a characteristic odor.

Sediment is allowed during storage.

Storage conditions

Store in a dark place at a temperature of 12 to 15°C.
