Indications
Reaferon is used for viral and tumor diseases.
The drug is effective for viral hepatitis. It is prescribed for adults in the complex therapy of acute viral hepatitis B. The drug is most effective at the beginning of the jaundice period up to the 5th day of the disease. With the developed hepatic coma and cholestatic course of hepatitis, the drug is not very effective.
It is used for viral conjunctivitis, keratoconjunctivitis, keratitis, uveitis, as well as for hairy-cell leukemia, chronic myeloid leukemia, and kidney cancer. There are also data on the use of reaferon in the complex therapy of multiple sclerosis.
