Composition
Per 1 gram – benzocaine 200 mg.
Auxiliary substances:
mineral oil-120 mg (12%);
petroleum jelly-647 mg (64.7%);
propylene glycol — 20 mg (2%);
methyl parahydroxybenzoate — 2.4 mg (0.24%);
propyl parahydroxybenzoate — 0.6 mg (0.06%);
sorbitan monostearate — 10 mg (1%).

Benzocaine has a local anesthetic effect and does not have a resorptive effect.
Indications
Local analgesic for hemorrhoids anal fissures after proctological operations during diagnostic manipulations.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
The drug should be administered with caution in cases where the expected benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus or child.
Contraindications
Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug thromboembolic disease granulocytopenia.
Side effects
Allergic reactions local reactions (hyperemia pruritus).
Interaction

How to take, course of use and dosage
The drug should be used after hygiene procedures. Remove the protective cap from the applicator. Attach the applicator to the tube and squeeze out a small amount of ointment to lubricate the applicator. The ointment is carefully applied through an applicator to the affected areas outside or inside the anus up to 4 times a day in the morning in the evening and after each bowel movement.
After each application, rinse the applicator thoroughly and place it in a protective cap.
Use in children under 12 years of age only on the recommendation of a doctor.
Overdose
Symptoms of overdose may be related to the pharmacological effects of benzocaine. Its systemic absorption in overdose can be manifested by drowsiness anxiety agitation in severe cases-convulsions. Extremely rarely, high doses of benzocaine can cause methemoglobinemia, which is manifested by respiratory disorders and cyanosis. Intravenous use of methylene blue is a specific treatment for this condition.
If the recommended single and daily doses of shark liver oil are significantly exceeded, there may be a tendency to accelerate blood clotting.
Special instructions
If there is a profuse bloody discharge from the anus or if painful symptoms persist for more than 7 days, it is necessary to consult an additional proctologist.
