From the digestive system: nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, epigastric pain.
From the side of the visual organ: mydriasis, paralysis of accommodation, increased intraocular pressure.

Other services: dryness of the mucous membranes, difficulty urinating.
Interaction
The drug enhances the effect of sedatives, ethanol.
Combined use with antidepressants, phenothiazine derivatives (chlorpromazine, trifluoperazine, levomepromazine), antiparkinsonian and antipsychotic agents increases the risk of urinary retention, dry mouth, constipation.
When used concomitantly with corticosteroids (prednisone, dexamethasone, triamcinolone), the risk of glaucoma increases. Chlorphenamine when used simultaneously with MAO inhibitors (nialamide), furazolidone can lead to a hypertensive crisis, agitation, hyperpyrexia.
Use together with tricyclic antidepressants increases the sympathomimetic effect, with halothane-increases the risk of ventricular arrhythmia, with guanethidine-reduces its hypotensive effect. Guanethidine, in turn, enhances the alpha-adrenostimulating activity of phenylephrine, which is part of the drug.
Simultaneous use of ambroxol and guaifenesin with antitussive agents leads to difficulty in sputum discharge.
