Composition
Rosehip fruit contain ascorbic acid, carotenoids, sugars, flavonoids (kaempferol, quercetin, isoquercitrin), vitamin E, organic acids and other biologically active substances.
Pharmacological action
Low-vitamin Rosehip fruit, in contrast to high-vitamin rosehip varieties, are indicated for use as a choleretic agent in such diseases of the liver, biliary tract and gallbladder as biliary dyskinesia of the hypomotor type, chronic hepatitis, hepatocholecystitis, non-calculous cholecystitis.
