Pharmacological action

Sage – antiseptic plant origin for the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract (tonsillitis, laryngitis, pharyngitis) and mouth (stomatitis, gingivitis) for adults and children from 5 years in various product forms. Sage has an anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and expectorant effect due to its complex composition:

• Sage extract is dry.
• Sage essential oil.

It has astringent properties. Resorption tablets do not contain sugar, so they can be recommended for people who have limited sugar intake. Sage – from nature itself, from a sore throat!

Indications

In the complex therapy of inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract (angina, laryngitis, pharyngitis) and oral cavity (stomatitis, gingivitis).

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.

Contraindications

• Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug;
• pregnancy and lactation;
• children under 5 years of age;
• acute nephritis.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Locally. Keep in the mouth until completely absorbed, without chewing.

• Adults and adolescents over 15 years of age: 6 tablets per day at 2-hour intervals.
• Children from 10 to 15 years: 4 tablets a day with an interval of 3 hours.
• Children from 5 to 10 years: 3 tablets a day with an interval of 4 hours.

The duration of therapy is 5-7 days.

Overdose

So far, no cases of overdose have been reported.

Form of production

Tablets for resorption are flat, with a beveled edge, bluish-green color with lighter and darker inclusions, with a specific smell; on both sides of the tablet is engraved ” NP ” on the background of a tree image.
