Composition

1 g of paste for external use contains:

active ingredients:

salicylic acid 20 mg,

zinc oxide 250 mg,

excipients:

wheat starch,

vaseline

Pharmacological action

Pharmaceutical group:

Preparation with antimicrobial and drying action for external use.

Pharmaceutical action:

Salicylic-zinc paste is a combined preparation for topical application. Salicylic acid has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and keratolytic effects. Zn2+ has a drying effect.

Indications

Effective for the treatment of: subacute eczema of various origins, hyperhidrosis of the feet.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, children’s age (up to 12 years).

Side effects

Possible allergic reactions.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Salicylic-zinc paste is applied topically. Apply to the skin 1-2 times a day.

Overdose

Symptoms: if the paste is applied to significant areas of the skin for a long time, it is possible to: tinnitus, dizziness, hearing loss, sweating. In severe cases-convulsions, hemorrhagic diathesis, respiratory depression, impaired liver and kidney function.

Treatment: symptomatic.

Special instructions

Salicylic acid, which is part of the paste, can penetrate through the skin into the blood.

Do not apply the paste to the foci of wet wounds.

The drug should be stored out of the reach of children, at a temperature not exceeding 20°C.
