Pharmacological action
Pharmacodynamics
A drug that improves brain and peripheral blood circulation, with alpha-adrenoblocking, as well as activating metabolism action.
Reduces vascular resistance, increases arterial blood flow, and increases oxygen and glucose consumption by brain tissues. Lowers the resistance of the pulmonary vessels. Reduces platelet aggregation and improves hemorheological parameters.
Increases the speed of blood flow in the vessels of the upper and lower extremities, especially in cases of blood flow disorders caused by functional arteriopathy. Clinical trials have shown that Sermion is highly effective in treating cerebral circulation disorders and arterial blood flow insufficiency in the vessels of the upper and lower extremities.
Taking Sermion in therapeutic doses, as a rule, does not affect blood pressure. In patients with arterial hypertension, the drug may cause a gradual decrease in blood pressure.
The pharmacokinetics of Sermion have not been studied.
