is obtained Pharmacological action

Cefecon H has an analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects.

Naproxen and salicylamide are NSAIDs whose mechanism of action is associated with the inhibition of PG synthesis and the effect on the thermoregulatory center in the hypothalamus.

Caffeine has a psychostimulating, analeptic and antispasmodic effect on smooth muscles, stimulates striated muscles, reduces platelet aggregation and releases histamine from mast cells.

Indications

Cefecon H is prescribed as an analgesic for pain syndromes of varying severity:

• sciatica;
• toothache;
• lumbago;
• neuralgia;
• migraine, headache;
• degenerative-dystrophic diseases of the musculoskeletal system (ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, osteochondrosis);
• myalgia;
• primary algodismenorrhea.

As an antipyretic, it is used for febrile syndrome during infectious, inflammatory or cold diseases.

Contraindications

Cefecon H is not used in such cases:

• bleeding;
• angle-closure glaucoma;
• children under 16 years of age;
• elderly people;
• liver failure;
• gastric ulcer;
• hypersensitivity;
• arterial hypertension;
• insomnia;
• duodenal ulcer;
• renal failure;
• pregnancy;
• increased excitability;
• diseases of the cardiovascular system;
• breastfeeding;
• bronchial obstruction;
• chronic heart failure.

Side effects

As a result of taking the drug, such undesirable effects may develop:

Interaction

Reduces the hypotensive effect of beta-blockers, ACE inhibitors; enhances the effect of anticoagulants, oral hypoglycemic agents-sulfonylureas.

How to take, course of use and dosage

According to the instructions for Cefecon H candles, the use of suppositories is possible only after natural bowel emptying or a cleansing enema.

1 candle is prescribed from 1 to 3 times a day. It is inserted into the rectum, and the patient should spend about 40 minutes in bed.

When used as an analgesic, it should not be used for more than 5 days, as an antipyretic-no more than 3 days.

Overdose

The antihypertensive effect of ACE inhibitors and beta-blockers decreases when taking Cefecone N.

When taken with sulfonylurea derivatives (oral hypoglycemic agents, anticoagulants), it enhances their effect.

Special instructions

If itching or unpleasant sensations occur in the rectum, it is necessary to enter an enema with sunflower oil (in the amount of 1 tablespoon) and temporarily stop using the drug.

Form of production

Suppositories are white or white with a yellowish or creamy tint of color, torpedo-shaped.

On the longitudinal section of the suppository, there should be no inclusions, the presence of an air rod or a funnel-shaped depression is allowed.
