Complivit-Active is a combined multivitamin preparation

with micro-and macronutrients, the action of which is due to the effects of the substances that make up its composition.

Pharmacological properties

Combined preparation-balanced taking into account the daily need for vitamins and minerals in children. Compatibility of the components is ensured by a special technology for the production of vitamin and mineral complexes.

The effect of the drug is due to the effects of its constituent components:

Retinol (vitamin A) – provides functional activity of the visual organs. Essential for healthy skin, teeth, and hair.

a-Tocopherol acetate (vitamin E) – has antioxidant properties, prevents cell damage; has a positive effect on the functions of nervous and muscle tissue.

Colecalciferol (vitamin D3) – regulates the exchange of calcium and phosphorus in the body, promoting the process of osteogenesis. With a lack of calcium, calcium homeostasis and phosphorus metabolism are disrupted, and muscle strength and tone are reduced. It is necessary for the normal formation of bones and teeth.

Thiamine (vitamin B – 1) – participates in carbohydrate metabolism, normalizes the nervous and cardiovascular systems.

Riboflavin (vitamin B2) is an essential catalyst for cellular respiration and visual perception. It is involved in carbohydrate, protein and fat metabolism, as well as in the synthesis of hemoglobin and erythropoietin.

Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) – takes part in protein metabolism and neurotransmitter synthesis.

Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) – participates in the synthesis of nucleotides, is an important factor in the normal growth, hematopoiesis and development of epithelial cells; it is necessary for folic acid metabolism and myelin synthesis.

Nicotinamide (vitamin PP) – participates in the processes of tissue respiration, fat and carbohydrate metabolism.

Folic acid-takes part in the synthesis of amino acids, nucleotides, and nucleic acids; it is necessary for normal erythropoiesis.

Calcium pantothenate-plays an important role in the processes of acetylation and oxidation; promotes the construction and regeneration of epithelium and endothelium.

Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) – provides collagen synthesis; participates in the formation and maintenance of the structure and function of cartilage, bones, teeth; participates in iron metabolism, maturation of red blood cells. Vitamin C increases the body’s resistance to infections and reduces inflammatory reactions.

Magnesium-plays an important role in regulating the neuromuscular activity of the heart, participates in many enzymatic reactions, as well as in protein synthesis.

Calcium is essential for bone formation, nerve impulses, skeletal and smooth muscle contraction, and blood clotting.

Iodine is essential for the synthesis of thyroid hormones that regulate physical and mental development.

Indications

Prevention of vitamin and mineral deficiencies in children aged 3 to 10 years:

– after suffering from infectious diseases;

– with increased physical and mental stress;

– with regular sports activities;

– with insufficient and unbalanced nutrition.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

The drug is indicated for use in children aged 3 to 10 years, so there are no data on the use of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Based on the qualitative and quantitative composition of the drug, use during pregnancy and during breastfeeding is possible.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Children under 3 years of age.

Hypervitaminosis A. Hypervitaminosis D.

Impaired thyroid function.

Phenylketonuria.

Sucrose/isomaltose deficiency, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption.

Side effects

Interaction

Simultaneous use of other multivitamin complexes is not recommended to avoid overdose.

The drug contains calcium, so it delays the absorption of antibiotics from the group of tetracyclines and fluoroquinolines in the intestine.

How to take, course of use and dosage

The drug is taken orally after a meal. The tablet should be chewed and washed down with a small amount of water.

Children from 3 to 6 years of age: 1 tablet 1 time a day, from 6 to 10 years-1 tablet 2 times a day.

The duration of use of the drug is 1 month.

Overdose

If the therapeutic dose is repeatedly exceeded, vomiting, diarrhea, and muscle weakness may occur due to vitamin A and D3 hypervitaminosis.

In case of overdose, you should consult a doctor.

Treatment: temporary discontinuation of the drug, gastric lavage, ingestion of activated carbon, symptomatic treatment.

Special instructions

To avoid overdose, the dosage regimen of the drug should be strictly observed.

If allergic reactions to the components of the drug occur, the drug should be discontinued.

It is possible to stain urine in a bright yellow color, which is completely harmless and is explained by the presence of riboflavin in the preparation.

Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms

The drug does not adversely affect the ability to drive vehicles and perform other potentially dangerous activities that require increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.
