Composition

The composition of the drug includes the following components: :

• sodium hyaluronate 0.3%,
• sorbitol,
• disodium hydrophosphate dihydrate,
• sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate,
• water for injection.

Pharmacological action

Gylan Ultra Comfort is a local ophthalmic drug that reproduces the action of tear fluid, moisturizes and protects the surface of the eye, lubricates it.

It has a long-term effect, relieving the manifestations of dry eyes, which are caused by a violation of the tear film, tear secretion, exposure to environmental factors (climate control, central heating, fluorescent lamps, cold, wind, dust, smoke), prolonged work at the computer, the use of anti-inflammatory or vasoconstrictive eye drops, as well as age-related changes.

Indications

• of the syndrome of “dry eye”, which requires supplementary hydration of the cornea and conjunctiva, severe xerosis: ;
• Sjogren’s syndrome;
• the need to eliminate dryness, feeling of sand in eyes, stinging, tearing, itching, redness, eye strain, which arose due to zabolevanii, including calcanhotto, of keratoconjunctivitis;
• in the complex therapy of chronic blepharitis, accompanied by dryness of eyes;

Contraindications

Contraindication to the appointment of Gylan Ultra Comfort drops is an allergic reaction to any component of the drug.

Side effects

There may be a feeling of gluing of the eyelids, which occurs due to the high viscosity of the solution.

Interaction

If it is necessary to use other topical ophthalmic agents, a thirty-minute break should be observed between instillation and instillation of Gylan Ultra Comfort drops.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Gylan Ultra Comfort eye drops are instilled into the conjunctival sac in the amount of 1-2 drops, it is permissible to use up to six times a day.
