Allergic reactions idiosyncrasy increased blood pressure.
Pharmacologically incompatible with other medicinal products with the exception of 09% sodium chloride solution.
Intravenously intravenously into the fistula passages.
Before use, the drug is heated to 37 °C.
Intravenously slowly – 5-20 ml of a solution of 4 mg / ml. If the solution cannot be administered intravenously, it is administered intramuscularly in a volume of 20 ml (while the rate of appearance of the drug in the urine decreases). Urinary excretion of Indigo Carmine is monitored using a cystoscope. With normal renal function, the dye begins to be released from the ureters in 2-3 minutes, the maximum excretion is noted in 6-8 minutes, and ends in 1-15 hours. In patients with impaired renal function, excretion is less intense and more delayed.
An undiluted solution of 4 mg/ml is introduced intracavitarily or into fistulous passages, or 5 ml of a solution of 4 mg/ml (1 ampoule) is diluted immediately before use in 400 ml of 09% sodium chloride solution.
Some patients may experience an increase in blood pressure.
The drug is used only in a hospital setting.
