Composition

Active ingredient: dexpanthenol-50 mg;

Excipients: vaseline; vaseline oil; almond oil; white wax; anhydrous lanolin; cetostearyl alcohol; lanolin alcohols; water

Pharmacological action

Pantoderm has regenerating, metabolic and weak anti-inflammatory effects.

Dexpanthenol in the body forms an active metabolite-pantothenic acid, which is a component of coenzyme A, which catalyzes acetylation in the body, participates in almost all metabolic processes (the tricarboxylic acid cycle, the exchange of carbohydrates, fats and fatty acids, phospholipids, proteins, etc. ), provides the formation of corticosteroids, choline acetylation.

It stimulates the regeneration of the skin and mucous membranes, accelerates mitosis and increases the strength of collagen fibers.

Indications

-Dry skin; – wounds and burns; – dermatitis, bedsores, diaper rash, abscesses, boils after opening and sanitation;- aseptic postoperative wounds, poorly surviving skin grafts; – treatment and prevention of cracks and inflammation of the breast nipples during lactation;- care for infants: prevention and treatment of diaper rash in infants, activation of the skin healing process for minor injuries, erythema from diapers.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Externally. Pantoderm® is applied to the damaged or inflamed area of the skin once or several times a day.

Breast care for nursing mothers: the ointment is applied to the nipples after each feeding; it can be used as a compress.

Care for infants: the ointment is applied with each change of diaper (diaper).

Special instructions

When treated with Pantoderm, mechanical irritations are significantly reduced.

For dry skin defects, it is recommended to use Pantoderm in the form of an ointment, and for wet wounds and open areas of the body – in the form of a cream.

Pantoderm should be used with caution in patients with chronic renal failure.
