The peripheral venous catheter with an additional port is suitable for long-term infusions into peripheral veins. The needle is made of the thinnest surgical steel of high strength. Needle insertion is atraumatic and painless thanks to triple sharpening. Once the catheter is inserted into the vein, the needle is removed. The catheter is fixed with a wing attachment. There is an additional injection port “Luer”. The hydrophobic plug protects against blood leakage.
