Pharmacological properties

Combined preparation of plant origin.

Pharmacological properties are determined by the biologically active substances that make up the drug. Sinupret® has a secretolytic, secretomotor, anti-inflammatory, decongestant, moderate antibacterial, antiviral effect. Promotes the outflow of exudate from the paranasal sinuses and upper respiratory tract, preventing the development of complications.

Indications

Acute and chronic sinusitis, accompanied by the formation of a viscous secretion.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

The use of Sinupret® during pregnancy is possible only as prescribed by a doctor; take Sinupret ® drops, due to the alcohol content, should only be in the case if it is not possible to take Sinupret ® pills. The drug is not recommended for use during breast-feeding (due to the lack of experience in its clinical use).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, alcoholism, childhood (up to 2 years). Do not take the drug to patients after successful anti-alcohol treatment.

With caution: liver diseases, epilepsy, brain diseases and injuries (use only after consulting a doctor).

Side effects

Possible allergic reactions (skin rash, redness of the skin, itching, angioedema, shortness of breath), gastrointestinal disorders (epigastric pain, nausea). If side effects occur, you should stop taking the drug and consult a doctor.

Interaction

Combination with antibacterial drugs is possible and not advisable. Interactions with other drugs are still unknown.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Inside, after diluting in a small amount of water.

Adults: 50 drops 3 times a day.

Children of school age: 25 drops 3 times a day.

Children from 2 to 6 years: 15 drops 3 times a day.

The course of treatment is 7-14 days.

If symptoms persist for more than 7-14 days or recur periodically,

you should consult your doctor.

Overdose

In case of overdose, the severity of dose-dependent side effects may increase. Treatment is symptomatic.

Description

Clear, yellowish-brown liquid with a fragrant smell. Slight turbidity or slight precipitation may occur during storage.

Special instructions

The drug contains 16.0-19.0% ethanol (in volume terms). When using the bottle, keep it in an upright position. During the storage of Sinupret ® drops, slight turbidity or precipitation may occur, which does not affect the effectiveness of the drug. When used in the recommended doses, the drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and work with mechanisms that require increased attention. Shake thoroughly before use!

Form of production

Drops for oral use. 100 ml of the drug in a dark glass bottle with a dosing drip device on top, with a screw-on lid and a safety ring, together with the instructions, is placed in a folding cardboard box.

Storage conditions

In a dry place, protected from light, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.

Shelf

life is 3 years.

Do not use after the expiration date.

Open vials can be used for 6 months.
