Composition

Active ingredient:

Mebeverinee hydrochloride 200 mg;

Auxiliary substances:

colloidal silicon dioxide (aerosil),

magnesium stearate

Pharmacological action

Antispasmodic of myotropic action, has a direct effect on the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract (mainly on the large intestine).

Eliminates spasm without affecting normal intestinal motility. It does not have an anticholinergic effect.

Pharmacokinetics

When taken orally, it undergoes presystemic hydrolysis and is not detected in plasma. It is metabolized in the liver to veratric acid and Mebeverine alcohol.

It is mainly excreted by the kidneys in the form of metabolites, in small amounts – with bile. Mebeverine capsules have the property of prolonged release.

Even after repeated use, there is no significant accumulation.

Spastic states of the gastrointestinal tract caused by organic diseases.

Symptomatic treatment of pain, spastic states, unpleasant sensations in irritable bowel syndrome.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Inside adults and children over 12 years of age: 1 capsule (200 mg) 2 times a day for 20 minutes before meals (morning and evening).
