Product description

Composition

One tap on the valve contains:  active ingredients: amylmethacresol 0.29 mg,2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol 0.58 mg, lidocaine 0.78 mg; excipients: ethanol 96% 52 µl, citric acid 0.19 mg,13 µl, glycerol, sorbitol solution 70% (decrystallizing) 13 µl, saccharin 0,026 mg, levomenthol 0,104 mg peppermint leaf oil is 0.156 µl, anise seed oil of 0.065 µl exceeded, the conversion (Karmazin edical) 0,008 mg, purified water to 130 µl, sodium hydroxide qs, hydrochloric acid concentrated qs.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

The use of the drug during pregnancy and lactation is possible only on the recommendation of a doctor if the expected benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus and the baby.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;
• a history of allergy to local anesthetics;

Side effects

Interaction

The effect of locally applied lidocaine may be enhanced when the drug is used simultaneously with erythromycin, itraconazole, cimetidine, fluvoxamine, beta-blockers, and other antiarrhythmic agents, for example, mexiletine.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Please read the instructions carefully before taking the drug. Locally. To use the spray: remove the cap, lift the sprayer. Hold the bottle vertically, point it at the area of inflammation and spray it into the mouth. Adults and children over 12 years of age: irrigate the inflamed area by pressing the head of the bottle twice (one dose). If necessary, repeat the procedure every 2 hours, no more than 8 times within 24 hours. Do not exceed the indicated dose. The duration of the course of treatment is no more than 3 days. Overdose

Unlikely, a possible overdose may result in anesthesia of the upper digestive tract.

It should be borne in mind that intoxication with high doses of lidocaine can lead to hypotension, asystole, bradycardia, apnea (respiratory arrest), seizures, coma, cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest and death.

Special instructions

It is recommended to take the drug in the shortest possible course and in the minimum effective dose necessary to eliminate symptoms. The spray should not be inhaled. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not open or heat the bottle. In case of possible loss of tongue sensitivity, it is recommended to use caution when eating hot food and water, biting the tongue and lips is possible. The drug contains a small amount of 96% ethanol: 0.0847 g in a single dose (two clicks on the valve) and 0.677 g in the maximum daily dose.
