Description

• They are made without the use of phthalates and latex.
• During the manufacturing process, the needle tips are bombarded with microscopic glass granules. Thanks to this process, the cutting edge of the needle is rounded, which ensures that the membrane is protected from cuts.
• The special shape of the Surecan needle cut ensures easy penetration through the silicone. The oblique cut design prevents parts of the membrane from being bitten out, and the structure is easily restored immediately after the needle is removed.

Description

Surecan needles are designed for implantable port systems. Manipulations with them are safe and convenient, and a specially designed needle design prevents the membrane from leaking and helps extend the service life of the port system.

Standard injection needles “bite out” the material from the silicone membrane when punctured. The problem is caused by an inconvenient structure of the cutting edge of the needle. Parts of the cut-out silicone cause the catheter to block, and the membrane begins to leak already in the initial stages of using the port system.
