Composition

Pharmacological action

It helps maintain the normal physiological state of the nasal mucosa, as well as dilute mucus and normalize its production by goblet cells of the mucous membrane. The microelements that make up seawater have an anti-inflammatory effect, stimulate reparative processes, improve the function of the ciliated epithelium, which increases the resistance of the mucous membrane to the introduction of pathogenic bacteria and viruses, and promotes its purification.

Indications

• Prevention of nasal infections in the autumn-winter period, in the presence of polluted atmospheric air (drivers of vehicles, smokers, dusty and hot workshops), changes in climatic conditions (premises with central heating and / or air conditioning).
• Rhinitis (acute, allergic, vasomotor), adenoids, chronic diseases of the paranasal sinuses, nasopharynx, and nasal cavity, including those that are accompanied by dryness of the nasal mucosa.
• Hygiene procedures of the nasal cavity, including in infants.
• Washing of wounds of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses before and after surgical interventions.

How to take, course of use and dosage

The drug should be administered intranasally.

For therapeutic purposes (treatment of diseases of the nasal mucosa, paranasal sinuses, nasopharynx):

• children under 1 year of age (infants) — 1-2 drops in each nostril 1 to 3 times a day;
• for children from 1 year to 7 years — 2 drops in each nostril 4 times a day;
• children from 7 to 16 years — 2 drops in each nasal passage 4-6 times a day;
• adults — 2-3 drops in each nasal passage 4-8 times a day.

The course of treatment is 2-4 weeks, if necessary, the course of treatment is repeated after 1 month.

Prophylactic:

• children up to 1 year (infants) — using turundae, cotton product,2 times a day, or by instillation 1-2 drops in each nasal passage 2-3 times a day;
• for children from 1 year to 7 years — 1-2 drops in each nostril 1 to 3 times a day;
• children from 7 to 16 years — 2 drops in each nostril 2-4 times a day;

For hygienic purposes: to soften and remove nasal secretions, the drug is instilled repeatedly (removing excess fluid with a handkerchief or cotton wool) in each nasal passage until the discharge is completely softened and removed.

• Children under 2 years of age should be given nasal lavage while lying down. It is necessary to turn the child’s head to one side, rinse the upper nasal passage, then repeat the procedure with another nasal passage. Put the baby down, wipe the nasal discharge.
• Children over 2 years of age and adults should tilt their head to one side, rinse the upper nasal passage, and repeat the procedure with another nasal passage.
