Sinupret has a secretolytic, secretomotor, anti-inflammatory, decongestant, moderate antibacterial, antiviral effect. Promotes the outflow of exudate from the paranasal sinuses and upper respiratory tract, preventing the development of complications.
Indications
Acute and chronic sinusitis, accompanied by the formation of a viscous secretion.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
The use of Sinupret during pregnancy can only be prescribed by a doctor. The drug is not recommended to be taken during breast-feeding (due to the lack of experience with clinical use).
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, lactase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption, sucrose/isomaltase deficiency, lactose, fructose, galactose intolerance (due to the content of lactose monohydrate, glucose and sucrose in the drug), children under 6 years of age (due to insufficient clinical data).
Side effects
Possible allergic reactions (skin rash, redness of the skin, itching, angioedema, shortness of breath), gastrointestinal disorders (epigastric pain, nausea). If side effects occur, you should stop taking the drug and consult a doctor.
Interaction
Combination with antibacterial drugs is possible and appropriate. Interactions with other drugs are still unknown.
How to take, course of use and dosage
Inside, without chewing, with a small amount of water.
Adults: 2 tablets 3 times a day.
School-age children: Â take 1 tablet 3 times a day.
The course of treatment is 7-14 days.
If symptoms persist for more than 7-14 days or recur periodically, you should consult your doctor.
Overdose
In case of overdose, the severity of dose-dependent side effects may increase. Treatment is symptomatic.
Description
Round biconvex tablets, coated with a green color with a smooth surface. Three layers are visible on the fracture: the inner layer-from light brown with a greenish tinge to brown, with white spots allowed; the middle layer – white; and the outer layer-green.
Special instructions
