Instructions for use of Sotalol in tablets
For the treatment of arterial hypertension,80 mg is prescribed per day. If necessary, the doctor may recommend increasing the dose by 80 mg per week. The maximum dosage of 320 mg is allowed to be taken once a day.
With ventricular tachyarrhythmia,160 mg is prescribed per day, divided into 2 doses. If necessary, the dosage can be increased to 320 mg, in 2 doses. The maximum daily dosage in this case can be 480 mg, divided into 2 or 3 doses.
Dosage for patients with kidney or liver diseases is determined by the attending physician.
The drug is contraindicated if the patient is metabolic acidosis.

Combinations Sotalol and Class I antiarrhythmics increase the risk of developing ventricular arrhythmia.
