Pharmacological action
Product of plant origin. Contains alkaloids (gentian), bitter glycosides (erythro centaurin, erythro taurin, genziopicrin), flavone glycoside (centaurin), ascorbic and oleic acids, essential oil, resins. Increases appetite, increases gastric juice secretion, accelerates gastrointestinal motility, has a mild laxative and anthelmintic effect.
Indications
It is used as a bitterness to increase appetite and improve digestion with reduced secretory function of the gastrointestinal tract in adults.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug, increased gastric secretion, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, reflux esophagitis, pregnancy, breastfeeding, children under 18 years of age.

Overdose
