Pharmacological action
Infusion of centauria herb increases appetite, stimulates the secretion of digestive glands and intestines, has a choleretic effect.
Indications
It is used as a bitterness to increase appetite and improve digestion with reduced secretory function of the gastrointestinal tract in adults.
Contraindications
-Hypersensitivity to the drug,
– increased gastric secretion,
– peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum,
– reflux esophagitis,
– pregnancy,
– breastfeeding,
– children under 18 years of age.

How to take, course of use and dosage
About 5 g (1 tablespoon or 1 sachet) of centauria herb is placed in an enamel dish,200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water is poured, covered with a lid and heated in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered, the remaining raw materials are squeezed out.
The volume of the resulting infusion is brought with boiled water to 200 ml.
Apply inside in a warm form of 1/2-1/3 cup 2-3 times a day for 30 minutes before meals.
Before use, the infusion must be shaken.
Overdose
In case of overdose, dyspeptic disorders (nausea, diarrhea) are possible.
Storage conditions
Store in a dry place, protected from light, at a temperature not exceeding 20°C.
