About 10 g (6 sachets) of St. John’s wort herbs are placed in an enamel dish,200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water is poured, covered with a lid, heated in a boiling water bath with periodic stirring for 15 minutes, cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered, the remaining raw materials are squeezed out.
The volume of the resulting infusion is brought with boiled water to 200 ml.
Take inside in a warm form of 1/2 cup 3 times a day for 30 minutes before meals. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks.
For rinsing, apply 1/2 cup of warm infusion 3-4 times a day. The course of treatment is 5-10 days.
It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.
Hypersensitivity to the drug.
When taken orally-pregnancy, lactation, children under 12 years of age.

Possible allergic reactions. With prolonged use, it can cause unpleasant sensations in the liver and a feeling of bitterness in the mouth, in some cases, when taken orally, it has a photosensitizing effect (increased sensitivity of the skin to sunlight).
When St. John’s wort is co-administered with cyclosporine, warfarin, steroidal drugs, antiviral agents-reverse transcriptase inhibitors (amprenavir, indinavir, ifavirenz, nevirapine, nelfinavir, ritonavir, saquinavir); inhibitors of the activity of proteolytic enzymes, their effectiveness may decrease.
