Pharmacological action

Stimol — developed by the French pharmaceutical company Biocodex, the drug has a dual mechanism of action, thanks to the content of two ingredients: malate and citrulline, which are key links in the main human metabolic cycle.

Both of these components are of natural origin.

Fatigue, including after intense training, is a consequence of a violation of cellular metabolism, accompanied by an energy deficit and the accumulation of waste products-lactic acid and ammonia.

Stimol has a dual mechanism of action, normalizing energy production in cells and removing metabolic products.

Malate is an organic substance, the salt of malic acid. Malate is involved in the Krebs cycle and gluconeogenesis, reduces the concentration of lactate in the blood, contributes to the normalization of metabolism and activates non-specific protective factors of the body. This is especially true for athletes whose immune system is exposed to constant high loads. Citrulline is an amino acid involved in the liver’s cycle of neutralization of ammonia, which is formed as a result of the breakdown of nitrogen-containing compounds. It is known that during intense training, muscle fibers are damaged and a large amount of degradation products are released, which must be disposed of.

Citrulline is integrated into the urea cycle, increases the excretion of ammonium ions.

By acting in this way, Stimol “unlocks” the two main metabolic cycles in the human body, restoring normal metabolism and energy

Indications

STIMOL is used in the symptomatic treatment of functional asthenia, asthenic syndrome, overwork, increased fatigue, during recovery from previous illnesses.

Since there is no sugar in the composition of STIMOL, it can be taken by diabetic patients.

Contraindications

acute peptic ulcer disease, increased individual sensitivity to the drug, children under 5 years of age.

Side effects

In some cases, transient stomach pain may occur at the beginning of treatment.

How to take, course of use and dosage

adults and the elderly: 3.0 g (contents of 3 sachets) per day. Children from 5 years of age: 2.0 g (contents of 2 sachets) per day.

STIMOL® should be taken with a meal, mixing the contents of the sachet with approximately 100 ml of plain or sweetened water.

The course of taking the drug is 10-12 days.

Repeated courses are possible after a break (1-3 months) or on the recommendation of a doctor.

Each sachet contains approximately 30 mg of sodium. This should be taken into account in patients on a salt-free diet.
