Auxiliary substances

Purified honey,

sodium benzoate,

propylparaben,

sucrose,

purified water.

Pharmacological action

The drug has an expectorant, anti-inflammatory effect, helps to reduce the viscosity of sputum.

Indications

Inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract (acute and chronic) in adults and children aged from 1 year.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

It is contraindicated to use the drug during pregnancy and lactation.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity.

Side effects

Allergic reactions.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Stoptussin-Phyto is taken orally, after meals.

Children aged from 1 year — 2.5-15 ml 3 times a day after meals, depending on the severity of the child’s condition. Adults — 15 ml (1 tablespoon) several times a day.

Special instructions

Patients with diabetes mellitus should consult a doctor before starting treatment (the drug contains 65% sucrose).
