Strepsils with honey and lemon, pills, 24pcs

Composition

Active ingredients: 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg, amylmethacresol 0.6 mg; excipients: tartaric acid 26 mg, honey of 125.6 mg peppermint leaf oil of 0.62 mg, lemon oil (containing terpenes) of 2.03 mg, dye quinoline yellow (E 104) 0,099 mg, cane sugar [sucrose, water, dextrose liquid [dextrose, oligo – and polysaccharides] to obtain a pill mass of 2.6 g.

Pharmacological action

Strepsils is an antiseptic combination drug for topical use in ENT practice and dentistry.

It has an antimicrobial effect (natural medicinal additives included in the preparation have a softening effect on the mucous membrane).

It is active against a wide range of gram-positive as well as gram-negative microorganisms in vitro; which have an antifungal effect.

Indications

Treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx (sore throat, sore throat).

The drug can be used for people with diabetes mellitus (it does not contain sugar).

Use during pregnancy and lactation

The use of Strepsils during pregnancy and lactation is possible according to indications under the supervision of a doctor.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, as well as children under 5 years of age.

Side effects

Allergic reactions.

Interaction

No interaction of Strepsils with drugs of other groups was detected.

How to take, course of use and dosage

Adults and children over 5 years of age are recommended to dissolve 1 tablet of Strepsils every 2-3 hours.

The maximum daily dose is 8 tablets.

Overdose

Symptoms:  possible gastrointestinal discomfort.

Treatment:  symptomatic therapy.
