of 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol is a derivative of benzene, antiseptic. Amylmethacresol-a phenol derivative, antiseptic. The mechanism of action of 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol and amylmethacresol is associated with the coagulation of microbial and fungal cell proteins, as well as interaction with cell membrane lipids, which determines the effectiveness against pathogens. The drug has an antiseptic effect in infectious and inflammatory diseases, is active against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms in vitro, has an antimycotic (antifungal) effect and an antiviral effect in vitro.
