Hypersensitivity (including to other sulfone and sulfonamides), diseases of the hematopoietic system, anemia, renal / hepatic insufficiency, congenital glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, azotemia, porphyria.

Sulfonamide preparation. Streptocide has an antimicrobial bacteriostatic effect. Active against gram-positive and gram-negative cocci, Escherichia coli, Shigella spp., Vibrio cholerae, Clostridium perfringens, Bacillus anthracis, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Yersinia pestis, Chlamydia spp., Actinomyces israelii, Toxoplasma gondii. When applied to damaged skin, it accelerates wound healing and erosion epithelialization.

Allergic reactions;with prolonged topical use in large quantities-systemic effect: headache, dizziness, paresthesia, tachycardia, nausea, vomiting, dyspepsia, leukopenia, agranulocytosis, crystalluria, cyanosis.
Myelotoxic drugs increase the manifestations of hematotoxicity of the drug.
Topically, externally, apply directly to the affected surface (in the form of powder for external use) or spread (in the form of 10% ointment or 5% liniment) on a gauze napkin; bandages are made after 1-2 days. For deep wounds,5-10-15 g of powder for external use is introduced into the wound cavity.
During therapy, a plentiful alkaline drink is recommended.
