Collagen forms the basis of human connective tissue (cartilage, bones, ligaments, tendons, skin, etc. ) and provides its strength. Collagen hydrolysate contains a large amount of amino acids (proline, hydroxyproline, glycine), collagen peptides and a biogenic tripeptide-glycine-histidine-lysine:
