Tachocomb has a hemostatic, adsorbing effect. Substrate (fibrinogen) and catalytically (thrombin, etc. ) activates blood clotting.
Pharmacodynamics
The plate is glued to the wound surface by polymerization, which lasts 3-5 minutes and creates strong adhesion.
When in contact with a bleeding wound or body fluids, the clotting factors contained in the covering layer of the plate are fibrinogen, thrombin, etc. – released; under the action of thrombin, fibrinogen is converted to fibrin, aprotinin inhibits plasmin and inhibits fibrinolysis, a strong clot is formed. The plate itself resolves and subsequently (after 3-6 weeks) is replaced by connective tissue.

Hypersensitivity.
Possible increase in body temperature.
Tachacomb should be applied to surgical wound surfaces in a sterile environment.
Before applying the sponge Tachacomb the wound surface should be cleaned as much as possible (for example, from blood, disinfectants and other liquids).
Apply the side covered with clotting factors and marked in yellow to the wound surface and press for 3-5 minutes. When applying the sponge Tachacomb on sufficiently moist wound surfaces, no additional moistening of the sponge is required. In case of application After applying the tacomb to dry wound surfaces, the sponge should be moistened with saline solution to achieve a complete connection with the dry areas of the wound surface.
A moistened sponge should be used immediately!
The size and number of sponges depend on the size of the wound surface. The edges of the wound should be covered with a sponge for 1-2 cm. If more than one sponge is required to close the wound surface, then when applied to the wound, their edges should overlap each other. Sterile scissors can be used to cut out sponges of the required size both before and after applying to the wound surface. Unused sponge fragments must be destroyed.
